Consumer protection laws do not apply to your purchases from other consumers. More specifically, the right of withdrawal of Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the two year legal right of conformity as harmonised under EU laws do not apply. The general right of conformity including the guarantee against hidden defects of sections 1593 – 1596, 1612 – 1618 of the Civil Law do apply. The rights of buyers in the case of a defective good are listed in section 1619 – 1634 and 2040 of the Civil Law.
